Police and Prisons

The police and prisons industries form a core part of what we do here at Chiltern Global. With public order equipment readily available on an array of framework agreements, and our own range of shields tested to BS7971-3, we equip officers on the front line to ensure their safety. 

In addition to our limb protection available through the Yorkshire Purchasing Organisation’s 1204 PPE Workwear Uniform and Managed Services, we also provide batons and gloves through Blue Light Commercial’s framework agreements for the provision of batons and PSU clothing and equipment (BLC0104 and BLC0069). 

As well as ESP batons, we are also the UK’s exclusive distributor of the Bonuwi Camlock baton, the only Positive Lock Baton compliant with EU Technical Directive 04-2006 and baton of choice for around a quarter of UK Police forces. 

Recently we have also become the UK distributor for Bonuwi’s Stop Stick range of vehicle stopping systems, opening a whole new avenue of equipment to this industry.

Military

The defence arm of our business has long been our bread and butter. Over a period of more than 20 years, we have developed an unparalleled supply chain network and expertise in managing defence equipment manufacturing projects. In 2025, we gave this its own arm of the business, Chiltern Defence. 

In addition to our UK headquarters, we also have a company based in Dubai, called Chiltern Defence which specialises exclusively in bespoke commissions for the defence industry. 

Our defence manufacturing capabilities cover a wide breadth of products, and thus we are able to welcome bespoke commissions for a huge variety of projects. From concept to completion, we help our clients through the entire manufacturing process to ensure they receive products fit for the challenging requirements of the Armed Forces. All the way through from the initial specification, through the full manufacturing process, testing, and delivery, we project manage to ensure tenders are completed successfully every time. 

We have a core focus on textile-based personal equipment. Over the years we have provided uniforms, load carriage, ballistic protection, camouflage netting, public order equipment, and much more to forces around the world.

Medical

Another core arm of our business is the medical arm. This arm of the business goes by Medical Warehouse Global. This is our dedicated medical procurement division, offering a wide range of medical equipment, packaged into an integrated supply, and delivered precisely where required. 

Our services include turnkey field facilities; clinical equipment; consumables and preconfigured kits; diagnostic and laboratory systems; quality assurance and compliances; consolidation and logistics; commissioning, training and through-life support. 

Our medical procurement has a proven track record of supporting the NHS and other national health systems, emergency and humanitarian responses, as well as private healthcare. 

Security

Many of the products we supply into the police and prisons also have a crossover into the security industry. The primary products we supply into this industry are tactical vests, load carriage, and boots, as well as a wide range of accessories. Many more of our products have applications within this industry.
